How do I set up my FLIR Secure™ indoor camera using Bluetooth (BLE)?

  1. Connect the included microUSB cable to the included power adapter. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the camera and connect the power adapter to a power outlet. The camera turns on automatically when the power is connected.

  2. Remove the protective film on the lens.

  3. Download the free FLIR Secure™ app from the App store or Google Play Store.

  4. Make sure your mobile device's Bluetooth is turned on.

    NOTE: Refer to your mobile device's user guide for instructions on turning on Bluetooth.
  5. Tap the FLIR Secure™ icon to open the app.

  6. Tap SIGN UP and enter your email address and password to create a new account.

    NOTE: If you already have an account, enter your email address and password and tap LOG IN. If you re-install FLIR Secure™ and log in, the app prompts you to re-enter login credentials for all the devices in your FLIR Secure™ account.
  7. Tap , then tap Camera. The FLIR Secure™ app will scan for available cameras.

  8. In the camera list that appears, tap your camera's Device ID.

    NOTE: Your camera's Device ID is located on the bottom of the camera mounting plate. Your device ID will look similar to this: fxc123456789
  9. Enter a name and password for your camera, and tap DONE . The camera name can be anything you want, such as the location of the camera (for example: Front Door).

  10. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.

  11. Enter the password for your Wi-Fi network and tap Connect. Wait few minutes for the camera to establish internet connection.

  12. A screen appears indicating the camera setup is complete. Tap DONE . The app displays your camera on the home screen.

  13. Tap the camera to view live video.

    NOTE:If you already have cameras and recorders associated with your FLIR Secure™ account, you can find them under the Cameras and Security Systems tabs in the FLIR Secure™ home screen.
